For sale is a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible, sports version with bucket seats. Everything is factory original except the wheels. The interior is near mint condition with the exception on a tear on drivers seat. Door panels and headliner are excellent. Carpets are original. This is a 3-speed on the tree, and shifts smoothly. The engine is a 260 V8, and still has the factory sprint valve covers with sprint decal on them. Starts and runs, but needs some carb work, smokes a little when first started. Engine is pretty peppy. I believe it is a 2 barrel carb. The radio works, but is weak. This car was off the road since 1974. It has some parts that were replaced recently, like the radiator, fuel pump and water pump. This car still has the original exhaust pipes and factory muffler, which needs replacing. The body and paint are original. Doesn't look like any repaint or body work ever done to this car. Some rust on two front fenders as well as rear quarters, just back of the wheels. Trunk and floors appear to be fine. Have two good used front fenders which go with the car. The convertible top is original and is electric. A few patchs were done on it from time to time, but still serves its purpose. Didn't notice any leaking. New cloth tops are inexpensive ($300.) This car is a good candinate for restoration, as it is quite rare, and rising is value. This is a two owner car and the mileage is correct at 102,000. This car is sold on as is basis, as it is 46 years old and getting tired.
