You are bidding on a 1974 Saab Sonett III. This is a project car and is not drivable in current condition. The auction also includes a spare body as well as a few other misc parts. The red car was fully restored in the early 90s. shortly after restoration it hit a deer and was parked since then. As you can see in the pictures the deer damage is not too serious but it did cause some problems. the biggest enemy of this car has been the 20 years of sitting though. It definitely has it's rust problems. I would still consider it a solid restoration project. I haven't tried to turn it over or anything since I bought it. I purchased it last year and due to other projects this has been sidelined. Just looking to pass it on to another saab freak. I would recomend that you come look at the car if at all possible.
