Up for auction is a 2002 Mazda Miata Special Edition. It has a restored salvage title due to being involved in a minor accident, but runs and drives great. The damage was honestly very minor and I have not replaced or repainted any of the yellow exterior body panels. I replaced the headlights, radiator, front bumper reinforcement bar, complete air bag system, windshield and one tail light. The air bag system was replaced correctly and is completely functional. The air bag light only comes on when the car is first started, as it should. The car has no problems other than minor cosmetic flaws. The only reason I`m selling it is because it is automatic and I would rather drive my 6-speed 10AE Miata, though I would keep all of them if I had the room. The Miata is loaded with the Special Edition package which includes the Blazing Yellow Mica paint, aero body kit, power everything, Mazda alarm system with keyless entry, fog lights, cruise control and ABS brakes. The interior is in great shape and the top is in great shape too except for a pair of pencil tip sized holes on the drivers side which I included a close up of. It has chrome aftermarket 17" enkei MO-4 wheels with Falken tires on them. 3 of the tires have about 50% tread left and the 4th one has about 90% tread left. the car has minor dings and scratches as shown in the close up pics. There are a few dings in the hood and 2 on the trunk lid. There are also a few dings and scratches on both front and rear bumper covers. The drivers side fender has some minor damage at the front tip where it meets the hood and headlight. Also, there is a chunk of plastic missing from the front lower valance. All of the damage is minor and shown in the close up pics. The car is located in Tucson, AZ and all shipping arrangements are to be handled by the buyer. If you prefer to fly to Tucson and drive it home, I will pick you up at the Tucson International airport for free.
