Somebody might get a real bargain here ! 2006 Dodge Stratus in metallic blue with dark grey (almost black) interior. Limo glass tint. Just 34,375 miles. I bought this in 2007 from the original owner, drove it for a year then put it into storage (under cover). I'm moving out of state very soon so need to sell it quickly. This vehicle has very slight front end damage - basically there are some rub marks on the front fender (see photos) following a very low speed impact when some uninsured motorist turned left in front of me. I'm told this is an easy repair, possibly just rub down and paint. The fender is not cracked or bent so won't need replacement. I drove it like this for a while after the accident, some people didn't even notice. The body panels (bar the front fender) and paint are perfect as is the interior, totally unmarked and never smoked in. The tires are only about 20% worn, the spare is brand new. The original manuals are in the glovebox and I have 2 sets of keys/remotes. Unfortunately while in storage a pack rat decided to build a nest under the hood (don't you hate 'em ?). I poisoned the rat and cleaned up most of the mess but you'll still find the odd twig or bit of cholla where I couldn't reach. I charged the battery on 6/26 and it started and ran/drove fine but after a few days the battery went flat so it probably needs a new one. While it was running I checked all the electrics - all exterior light's (headlights hi/lo, blinkers front and rear, reversing lights, hazard warning lights), trunk lights, dome light, windows, mirrors, alarm, remote locking, stereo/CD, blower and a/c - it all works fine. The 'check engine' light did come on however so I ran my OB2 scanner which came up with the following; P0118 - Engine Coolant Temp Circuit High Input, P0700 - Transmission Control System (NIL request) and P0132 - 02 Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 1) so 3 OBD faults. I'm not an expert so don't know what they mean though it did seem to run and drive fine as I said. With a little attention this would make a pretty little run-around or family car. I am starting this auction at $1 and will sell to the highest bidder regardless of the final price. There is no reserve. Don't worry - if I don't like the price I will NOT withdraw it at the last minute making some lame excuse like I sold it locally (which I've seen other unscrupulous eBayers do). I won't accept offers - if you're interested then please place a bid. You're welcome to view the vehicle at my home in New River but I will be out of state until July 10th, be back at home for a week and leave again on July 17th (essentially for good - like I say I'm moving). The auction closes on July 15th which will give a few days for viewing while I am at home. If it sells and is not paid for before I leave on July 17th I can arrange a neighbour to give you the keys and title once paid in full (she's a notary so can notarise the title if required). You have 14 days to pay remember and I'm not going to get difficult about say waiting for a personal check to clear as long as it does clear) At the start of the auction during the time I am away if you can't wait for my return you can still come and see it - it's parked in front of my house, contact me if you need the address but of course you'll only be able to see it from the exterior. What I will do is leave the hood unlocked so you can look under there. I'm being as honest as I can - it's a pretty little car with a dead battery, very slight front end damage, a little pack rat mess and the OB2 faults as above. I would also suggest an oil change ASAP as it's due for one and has been sitting for a while. I've done my best to describe the good and bad of this vehicle but it is being sold as-is, sorry no comebacks. If you don't like the deal, dont bid - nobody is forcing you to.
