Due to a non-paying Ebayer, I have had to Relist this item. Please do not bid unless you intend to follow thru with your purchase. If you have any negative feedback or no bids, please contact me before placing a bid or I will remove your bid!!! You are looking at a 1982 Honda Nighthawk CB650SC. The bike has ONLY 11,422 miles on it!! I bought this bike last year for my son and I to learn on while we took our Indiana ABATE Motorcycle riding and safety classes. This bike has been a great help in our efforts to re-learn to ride since it had been years since I last rode. We felt this model, size and cost was perfect to re-learn on. I purchased this bike from an individual in Ohio and had it shipped to my home last summer. Since then, we have put about 400-500 miles on it. Both my son and I have purchased new bikes for ourselves and it's time to sell this bike to the next person. The bike runs strong and can go nearly as fast as you want to go. I'm 6'-0" and 245 lbs. and it handles me just fine and without hesitation. A really nice bike for the beginner or experienced rider, in my opinion. All the guages work, all the lights work including the headlight, turn signals, brake light indicator lights, guage lights and high beam. I have included several pictures of the bike for your inspection. The seat is in good condition with no rips or tears, the pegs have the usual wear but are in good shape. I am a very good Ebayer with 100% Positive Feedback after selling several items including automobiles, SUV's,boat, etc. So here are some minor items that you might want to be made aware of. The strap on the seat the came stock with the bike is not on the bike as we did not like it on there, however, we do have it and is included with the bike. The shift lever is slightly bent and missing the round rubber pad and we just never replaced it because it does not affect the shifting. One or two fins on the heads have chipped but does not affect the bikes performance at all. After the bike warms up or is driven for several miles, a small oil leak occurs on the far left head cylinder just above the left foot shifter. Not enough of a leak for us to bother with as we rode it for about 25 miles at a time for practice in riding, turning, signaling, braking and general riding comfort. The bike is painted a beautiful "fantasia blue" per the last Owner. I don't believe this is an original factroy color, however, it is a beautiful color and paint job. The bike rides smooth and straight and doesn't appear to have ever been laid down as that is what the last Owner informed me of as well. The rear tire is in good shape with lots of tread remaining (see pictures), while the front tire may need replaced sometime soon in my opinion, but still has tread. The bike has electric start and a new battery was put on the bike in April of this year. This is a rare opportunity to own a great Nighthawk as these bikes were highly sought after in the 80's. I constantly have people come up to me and they cannot believe this bike is 28 years old! These bikes are still in demand today as you can check Ebay and you won't find many Nighthawks nor in this condition or extremely low mileage. I paid right at $2,000.00 a year ago for this bike and I'm not going to give it away. So please no ridiculous offers! I would just keep it to ride every now and then along with my other new bike. All shipping and delivery of this bike is at the cost of the purchaser. I will help in coordinating the pick-up of the bike with your shipper as neccessary. The bike requires a minimum $500.00 PayPal payment/deposit immediately after the auction has ended. The balance of the payment must be made by PayPal, Cashiers Check, Money Order or Cash in hand and the payment must clear my bank before possesion of the bike is taken by the purchaser. Sorry, no joy rides unless the full cash payment is in my hand!
