1980 Corvette L82 This is a two owner 1980 Chevrolet Corvette that I bought from the original owner in 1986. I have owned this vehicle for 24 years and have always taken good care of it. It has been garage kept for it's entire life by non-smoking car enthusiast. My interests have changed over the years and it is now time for the car to go to a new home where it can be enjoyed by others. Reserve is set low, so make a reasonable bid and it could be yours. This vehicle has a 350ci V8 L82, auto transmission, power windows, power locks, removable t-tops, AM/FM cassette stereo, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, rear defrost, cruise control, t-top storage covers, and the original owners manual. The mileage on the vehicle is 66k and is correct. This is an unmolested numbers matching vehicle. Mechanically it all works and needs nothing to be completely enjoyed. Gages are working except the voltmeter, and the clock is sporadic. The original radio does work, but is starting to crackle a little when turned on. The AC blows cold and has been converted to R34. Power windows work, lights go up and down, and unlike a lot of these old Corvettes the sun visors to do not flop down when you hit a bump. The power antenna does not go up and down, but it has been that way since I got in '86. Tires have a good amount of tread left, but they are 15 years old and have some minor flat spotting ( they should round out after it has been driven a few hundred miles). For all but the past 5 years this car was driven regularly on weekends and special events. For the past 5 it has been mostly in storage and driven very little. I do start it up and take it for short drives every month to keep it running and lubricated. Cosmetically this car is beautiful to look at. There are a few minor imperfections in the paint, but they would have to be pointed out to be noticed. The original interior is is good shape for a 30 year old vehicle, but the seats show some wear and there is a small tear in the driver seat backrest as shown in the pictures. This vehicle was repainted in 1996 with the original silver color because the factory paint job was fading as many of them did from the 80s. The car has never been wrecked or damaged that I know of and the body is straight.
