Vehicle Detail

Hi! What you see here is a car I have taken as far I could take it. I bought the car in 2004 and since then have put WAY more than what I'm asking for the car into it. All new brakes with dual master cylinder conversion..all new springs were installed and drums have been turned. The engine was rebuilt by myself. It is a 140. It has been bored .40 over, with .010 topped cylinders, TRW forged Pistons with chrome rings. all new lifters, new OT-10 cam, all bearings, etc.. has the correct 65 style secondary linkage which works well. Has a Pertronix Ignitor II ignition in a rebuilt 140 distributor. 15x7 Cragar Soft 8 wheels. New shocks in front. I have HD springs and new gabriels and some bushings for the rear in a box that will go with the car. 4 speed trans with a 3.55:1 posi-trac rear end. There IS a little rust area in the "bump" under the passenger rear bumper corner, and also in the bottom front corners of the trunk (under the light wiring covers). It does need a repaint. The glass is all good, it has front seat belt retractors, 86 Toyota Celica Bucket seats, new wiring throughout the body, and countless other little improvements including a wiring change in the rear which makes all four lights brake and blink, but only the outside lights come on when the headlights/parking lights are on. I drive this car every day and it is reliable. I've got a lot of extra parts for it that you can take as you wish (I won't make you, but I won't need them anymore!) I'm just trying to get into a more practical car, so while I do LOVE this Corvair, it just has to go. Feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to answer them. On Jun-19-10 at 06:08:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to add- I do have receipts for "almost" everything I've have purchased and installed on the car. Almost 6000 dollars worth. Don't be scared off by the reserve. It's well below my Buy-it now. On Jun-19-10 at 07:27:27 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is also for sale locally. I will take the For Sale signs out as soon as the bids take it over the reserve.
