Vehicle Detail
This car is 99% rust free. I have one picture of the rear passengers side wheel well molding indicating the only rust on this car. The car was Ziebarded when new and has sticker on rear window. The car has an original 460 cubic inch engine, runs excellent. Everything works on this car. C.B. does need an antenna and the hood ornament is missing. Is equipped with complete tool kit and owners manual and both are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Does not have umbrella. I have personally owned the car since 1990, started some restoration work but didn't finish completely. Although the car may have some primer on it the body is arrow straight on both sides. The mirrors on the car are off of a 1986 Town Car and are not electric. It has a new vinyl top. Both ends of the door panels and the armrests have been refurbished with the original Diamond Jubillee fabric. Front seats are faded and passenger side has a tear where seatbelt comes over top of seat front seats need reuphostered or replaced Ends of back sail panels have been redone in correct Jubilee Gold fabric The back seat was excellent but faded at top where sun hits all of the Mark V's I attempted to dye it from the broadlace fabric up and got it a little too dark The fabric is strong and not torn at top as many are. The body has some primer on it. The car has no bondo or filling.except in very small area where arrow points The air conditioner has not been changed over to the R134a It needs charging but I couldn't find anyone out here that does the old kind The Kentucky title indicates that the vehicle has 26,941 miles when I transferred into Kentucky in June 2000. The odometer currently has 27,984 on it. The odometer was broken for about 7 months at one time, however, the car was driven very little during this period. The undercarriage of the car is in excellent condition. No rust. All woodgrain is excellent. Is equipped with a cassette player. Original spare tire is still in trunk and never touched the ground. If you are looking for a Diamond Jubilee to restore to mint condition, you will never find a better car at this price. The front seats are faded somewhat but other than that there is not a lot to do to this car. Most features on this car are already perfect. The reason I am selling this vehicle is I have two other ones that are already in mint condition. We may want to but we can't drive them all eventually some of them have to go I really have no place to keep it but the driveway Whoever gets this car will be getting a good one This car has never failed to start except for a dead battery in the 20 years that I've owned it It's been totally trouble free except for a waterpump approximately 10 years ago and recent front brakesOn Jun-21-10 at 09:01:42 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is 99% rust free.
