What It Is : This is my personal 1999 Honda Honda Valkyrie Interstate. Details on the Model : Details, reviews, features, and specs on this model Honda can be found on-line. This link below is pretty good : http://www.motorsports-network.com/honda/valinter/valinter.htm Condtion : The condition of the bike is showroom, mint, perfect, fabulous, ....not a scratch on it. I mean it. You won't be disapponited. Looks like it drove off the showroom floor, except the tires are not new. I would estimate the tires have 5-6k miles remaining. Riding or looking at the bike, you would think it was new. Mechanicals : The bike runs and rides perfectly. Check out my picture of a nickel balancing on the valve cover of the bike. The bike was started and running when I snapped the photo.The nickel didn't move. Really ! The bike runs fantastic on the highway. It does not pull, vibrate, make funny noises.....nothing. It's ready to go. I would not hesitate to ride it across the USA, right now. The transimission is fine and it shifts great - although with the floorboards, you need to "lift" your toe to shift, rather than pivot your ankle. The brakes are great too. Extras : The bike is complete with the rare chrome front fender rails and saddlebag rails. Check other Valks for this chrome - most don't have them. These don't have a scratch or ding on them. Also included is the Cobra floorboards, Kuryakyn highway cruise pegs, wind deflectors, and a wrist rest on the throttle. The bike has the factory AM/FM radio (with sound from the front speakers) and factory wiring only for intercomm and CB radio. History / Why Sell : I bought this bike about 1 1/2 years ago in El Paso, Texas. I bought it because it was "perfect". I have put about 3000 - 4000 miles on it and it has been great. I am an experience rider - but have one, very bad habit. I change bikes about every two years.......just got a Honda St1300. Too many bikes in the garage :( I What you Get : You get the bike, Honda manual, Honda tools, a full tank of gas, a clear Texas Title, one set of keys. You also get a an airport pick-up ! If you fly into Lubbock, Texas (LBB) I will pick you up. We'll get you fixed up on your new Valk - and off you'll ride. The Lubbock airport is serviced by Southwest, American, and Continental Airlines. One other note. If you prefer, I can deliver the bike to Canon City, Colorado (central Colorado). We can work those detail if you are interested in that. Terms : $500 deposit after you win the auction. You can pay me the rest within 14 days by green cash (at pick-up) or by cleared cashier's check, sent earlier by mail. I can keep it garaged until you come and get it - up to 4 weeks. Not a single scratch, nick, or anything on the paint or chrome.
