For bid is a 1983 F-250 XLT 4X4 manual with a 4.9 (300/cu. inch 6cyl) engine in running condition with 45,000 original miles on it. This ole girl "WAS NOT GARAGE KEPT" She has seen her fair share of mother natures seasons in the great outdoors from sitting out there for 20 years. So there is plenty of rust on the body to give concerns to a skittish buyer. The frame is very stable and solid thought allowing for a restoration project or wood hauler or even parts. The 4 wheel drive is fully functional without any mechanical problems that I am aware of. She also has fully functional instruments as well, (Tach, digital clock ect.) and the tires are fair. Now to the ugly stuff. There are things that will need to be repaired or replaced to keep the ole gray mare humming down the black top trail. The headliner is torn and hanging down. The radiator needs to be replaced or repaired. The power boost on the brake master cyl. needs to be replaced and once again there is plenty of body work to be done. Please be advised that truck is being sold as is with no specific warranties or guaranties and will need to be picked up by the winning bidder at end of auction.
