Thanks for checking out my auction!! For sale is my 1999 Mercury Sable. I am going to do my best to be upfront about this vehicle. The GoodThe engine and transmission have worked flawlessly for me since I began driving it four years ago. This car has been very dependable for me over the past four years and always starts and runs great. The front tires have well under 5,000 miles on them and the tread looks like it is brand new. There are no leaks of any kind that I am aware of. I have never seen any oil or other fluids under my car and I have never had to fill anything prior to a regularly scheduled maintenance. The OKThe exterior and interior are in fair shape. There are some dents and dings and scratches on the outside, a mark on the back bumper where it rubbed against something and paint was traded, as well as a very small amount of paint chipping on the front bumper. There is no rust on this car. The interior has some stains on the upholstery, but no holes or tears anywhere. The Not So GoodThere are a few mechanical issues I have been putting off that you may want to/need to fix upon getting this car. The muffler is in need of a new gasket. The car is rather loud when in idle and while driving down the road. Also, this car will need an alignment or a new back drivers side bearing. This is evident because the car begins to shake when you reach speeds over 50 mph, and the back drivers side tire is down to the cords. An alignment should fix the shake and correct the abnormal tire wear, but the tire will definitely need replaced ASAP. If you are the winning bidder and you are coming to pick it up, I could have the spare on when you get here as you may not want to drive the car home with the tire as worn down as it is. One final issue with this car is the brakes. The car is in need of new brakes/brake pads. I will be purchasing a new vehicle in the next two weeks and am going to sell this car to the highest bidder. I am also going to be trying to trade it in when I buy my new car so I may cancel the listing if I get a good trade-in offer. In conclusion if you are looking for a reliable vehicle that starts everytime, is mechanically sound, and aren't afraid of a little elbow grease if it gets you a great deal, this car is for you.
