1954 All Original Hudson Super Wasp. The 1952-54 Hudson wasp replaced the 1950-1952 Pacemaker. Super Wasp came into being 1953-1954. Production for the Super Wasp was 17792 which included all wasp for that year. I bought this car as a 1952 according to the Model D Serial # of 5287093 but according to the Wasp production, the Super wasp was only made in 1953 and 1954. I am assuming this is a 1954 Hudson Super Wasp since it has the super wasp on the car. It has the Commodore Six Engine Size sv-1-6 size 262 cid 127 horsepower. The floor pans,rockers and trunk pan look good. The interior of the car has been completely redone in dark blue. Both front vents and the windshield have become milky around the edges. Passenger rear window has cracked but is still intact. Will probably need replacing. Back door handle on drivers side needs to be replaced will open from inside but not from outside. The bottom of all doors look good. All windows roll up/down good. Trunk key is missing but trunk can be opened. Passenger side rear quarter panel has small crack in some body filler. Chrome for back window is off but is in the trunk. Front bumper needs to be rechromed. Everything is on the car except for one piece of chrome that goes across trunk lid. The front door on driver's side needs stop on door replaced. The door has slight dent where door went back too far. The speedodmeter shows 61939 miles. I replaced the spark plugs and it starts right up. I have not driven the car on the road since I have had it. The previous owner said he had driven the car on road the day I bought it. That is everything I know about the car. So bid to win because the reserve is low. Have a car that alot of people do not have. Ask any questions that you may have. Thanks
