I have a 1957 MGA Roadster, with a rebuilt MGB 1800cc 3 main motor that is .020 over and filled with all the best parts, and was professionaly rebuilt by R.C. Automotive. The 4 speed manual transmission was also professionaly rebuilt, both have less than 100 miles on the rebuilds. The car's electrical system has been switched over to neg ground and an alternator installed. The brakes pads, wheel cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder are all new. The parking brake system has all been replaced new. The clutch and slave cylinder are all new. The interior is real leather and I still have the rest of the leather wrap to finish the interior. Both rear fenders are new. All new chrome from bumpers to cover studs. There are so many new parts it would take 2 pages to list them all. I have over $20,000 invested in the car, but it's not finished! I drive it a little to keep it in good working order, but I don't have the time to finish the car. It is street legal and a blast to drive but it needs paint and a little body work to call it finished. Also the wipers don't work but who drives a roadster in the rain. The fuel gauge works intermittenly. I replaced the sender but most of the time the gauge reads E but if you tap it it will start to work. The one front fender has small rust holes that I found when sanding it down to solid metal, can be filled because the rest is solid. The doors don't line up perfect, but really what MGA's does? The trunk lid has some of the skin coat pealing off, but that is easily fixed by a body man. (that I am not). The pictures say 1000 words each. I have alot of extra parts and more parts that are for finishing the car that I have not had the time to install, example... 2 extra doors, starter, wire wheels, old original seat, heater box and controls in good condition, leather interior pieces from the kit, carpet kit etc... bring a truck I will fill it with extra parts! I don't have a top for the car so it would be good if you had a garage to put it in. I do have a flannel car cover, but that won't keep the weather out.
