Vehicle Detail

1967 Mustang Fastback- S Code, REAL GT 390 4 Speed. (Have Marti- Report, and all original tags are in place.) Originally purchased to restore, offering up for sale to do some home improvements. Car is 90% complete, and I believe I'm the second owner- Have NOM 390 and 4 speed that go with the car. Car needs: Front floorboards installed (new floors come with car) and hole patched in trans tunnel where a gate shifter must have once lived. There are some other metal issues that need addressed and i'll do my best to state them here: drivers inner fender well where floor meets inner fender- about a 2-3 inch hole. rear floors in corners: 1.5 inch hole. underneath trunk lid,, inner panels in corners.. .75 inch patches... not bad... I see some surface rust on passenger shock tower, but nothing structural. Original turn signal hood has been cut and a scoop added, so i'd replace it, but it's complete. Also, the front frame horns need attention on the inside where the bumper brackets attach. Car was originally Lime Gold with Ivy gold interior but is now black/black. I took Many close photos of every problem area I could find. Past these photos, there should be no surprises. The motor was apparently rebuilt and never installed and needs gone through/repainted before running... and I assume the trans does as well. Seems to shift and is free... but that's as far as I've gotten. Has incorrect intake on it. Original 9" rear and original gears are in place, and i believe they are around 360-390's. (*not sure exactly) but they're prerry low. Car has the original front discs on it.. huge plus. I do know for sure it's missing the grill lights, or parts of them, air cleaner and carb, and also the shift linkage, or part of it. Some emblems are missing, but other than that.. The the entire car is there. There are a few boxes of parts that go with the car including some new emblems, all taillights chrome, weather strip, door fuzzies, rocker moldings and some small engine parts.. oil filter, filter brackets, complete new bolt kit, new carpet, new headliner some nice original door panels, new leaf springs/flywheel/clutch/valve covers and some other items. I Do have the original console, which is in good shape. Car also has complete fold down rear seat/trapdoor etc.. which is complete. It's going to need new bumpers and chrome work as expected... but the bumpers and brackets are included. The good stuff: Great quarters, Roof and really really solid rockers and front fenders, torque boxes and shock towers, doors and glass. Only the floors seem to be bad.. and there pretty easy to put in as only fronts need attention. just a really really solid shell to start with. All the interior fiberglass is great and just needs cleaned and freshened up. Since owning, I've seen real S-codes sell for 11k without any drivetrain at all, that are far FAR worse than this... so I'm very certain this will make a good candidate for a true mustang fan at a good price. Call for more details. or with specific questions. It's a little dirty now from storage, but I know that if you understand what this car represents, the dirt won't bother you. :) Clear Title/Marti Report goes with car.
