Up for true NO RESRVE auction I have my 2003 Mercury Marauder. This car will go to the highest bidder. This car has been my baby since I bought it with 48,000 in April of 2007 and it now has 61,391 miles so it was driven less then 5,000 miles a year. This car has been garaged ever since I have owned it. One of the pictures shows where this car is nestled most of its life in a climate controlled garage. I am that person you see parked all the way in the last spot away from everyone else and furthest from the front door just to protect it from the carless doors flying open on a minivan full of kids. You won’t find any UV sunlight damaged paint, or interior, hail damage, or weather checked rubber/seals on this car. Has never been in the snow and I wait for a good rain to wash the streets clean of salt and sand before driving in the Spring. I would like to say it has never been in the rain but I think I have been caught in the with it twice. Unfortunately, the last time of the two I did not notice my wiper blade slide off the end of the wiper and the metal clip left a mark on the windshield which is one of the only flaws on the car. I don’t know if it is able to be buffed out or not, I tried to show in the picture. Really the only other two small flaws with this car is Mercury coated the trim bezels around the radio and gauges with something they called soft touch which is a kind of rubber film. It has not held up to my finger nails over the years. I think my boyfriend checked on the part and it was like $115 from the dealer. I tried to show it in the pictures around the white face gauges. This car has a powerful 4 cam 4.6L V8 with overdrive and a great sounding exhaust note. Please don’t confuse this car with grandmas Grand Marquis or the Crown Victoria cop cars. It rides like a luxury car is agile enough to take a clover leaf like a Mustang. It isn’t often you find a car like this where you have a trunk to carry what ever you need and 5 adults comfortably but still feel like you are driving something sporty. The only thing not stock to my knowledge on the car was the addion of the tint on the side and rear windows. Maintenance has been followed on this car to the book and synthetic oil has always been used. Majority of the services have been performed at the Ford Lincoln dealer. The car needs nothing. Fly in to MCI Kansas City airport and drive it home. The only reason I am selling this car is because I want a Cadillac CTS-V. Feel free to come and inspect this car before bidding. I definitely have nothing to hide and if anything like showing it off. I have a clean and clear title in my name in my hand. The car and title will not leave my possession until funds are clear and in my account. This means after you send the $500 deposit and if you pay by bank check it takes a few days for that check to clear. Sorry but fake checks and scams have made everyone leery.
