1970 Mustang Convertible. The options installed on this car include a 351 Cleveland, FMX transmission, 3:00 open rear axle, power disk brakes, power steering, power top, A/C, racing mirrors and an In-dash clock. I have owned this car for 18 years. It has been in storage for about the past 10 years, mostly inside, sometimes out. I know everyone says it but this IS a rare automobile, check the image of the Marti Report. Only a handful were made. (The buyer will receive the full color report with the car.) It has not been started for about a year because the transmission now slips and it doesnt want to move under its own power. The Good; It is a 1970 Mustang Convertible with a 351C! It is fairly complete and original! (Matching numbers to the best of my knowledge) The Bad; The car is rusty. The floors and torque boxes are shot. It is as bad as one would expect an unrestored 40 year old New Jersey car to be. Restoration will require a good deal of sheet metal work. The drivers side quarter and rocker panels were improperly repaired by the previous owner following an accident. They are noticeably out of alignment with the door and trunk. The grill is broken and there is no stock radio. The power top is in full working order and I have the original split-glass rear window, a plastic one is currently installed. The car is located in Morris County, Northern New Jersey. I will help with loading the car for shipping as much as I can but you must make all the arrangments for pick-up. The car DOES sit level, it was on an uneven grade in the driveway when I took the pics so it looks tweaked but it is not. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. It has a dent in it but should be repairable because its all stainless steel. I also have the original ashtray and a hand full of extra parts that will go with the car.
