Vehicle Detail
This Thunderbird has won many shows and has been published in magazines. It was built by Good Guys Kustom of the Year winner in 2008 and both cars were painted by my shop in Napa, California. We built and painted this car to advertise our traditional custom side. It represents a 60's traditional custom from start to finish. It sits on bags and has Accu-Air managment system. Lays 1/2" off the ground, while still having that old car ride at ride hieght at the three inch rise. This is the best driving air-bagged car that we've seen and driven. This bird has a beautiful 3" chop with center roof insert from a Mercury Park Lane. The chop and proportions are awesome and the paint is gorgeous, in a House of Kolor custom cocktailed mix. It has a flake roof and pearl dusted throughout. The body is outstanding. The interior is pearl white on purple leather tuck and roll, which clamshells around the entire car. The lower portions have a really cool diamond tuck. It even has tuck and roll upholstered fender wells. The 390 was painted and flaked to match with some gold leaf, copper and brass polished accents. It's garnished with a factory 3x2 carb set-up. The grill is custom and carries 54 Desoto teeth on a custom shelf with hand formed floating extensions. All plating done by Sherm's in Sacramento. The car looks and drives amazingly. Everything is new/rebuilt, including motor and trans. Was appraised for over $100K. Awesome craftmanship and killer paint made this a show winner that deserves to continue to be shown or retired to be a driver. Runs great. Stunning details throughout. Bid with confidence... this bird is bitchin'! Please feel free to ask questions. Good luck!
