It was salvaged due to "water damage" but the damage was very minimal arguably nonexistent. It's been inspected by a few different mechanics and none have found any damage that they attribute to water or "flooding" as it is noted on the title. Best guess is that the previous owner needed the money and decided to take the insurance claim for the "water damage". This is a nice, clean and practically new FJ Cruiser. You won't be disappointed!!!Also just to explain a little more about the lift kit that was installed. I brought it by a local 4X4 shop and asked about the lift and the quality of the job. The technician told me that the lift is top of the line that there weren't any corners that were cut to get a cheap lift kit. It's got new aftermarket springs with no blocks; also new extended A-arms were installed. After looking at the kit the technician told me that the value of it after parts and install is close to $3,000. This is no cheap looks only lift!!! It's been lifted to get the look and all of the functionality that any off road machine needs!
