1948 Crosley Panel Delivery Wagon. Runs great! Runs cool. Starts 1st time every time. 3 speed manual transmission shifts- double clutching helps- non-sincromesh back in the day. Instrument panel is worn, but most gauges work, except for the temp. gauge- the last owner put in an after market gauge. Has a Crosley AM radio (not wire in). All lights and brakes work (still 6 volt). Cruises pretty good down PCH @ about 40 MPH. Thumbs up everywhere I go. A REAL crowd pleaser at all shows. I get commets like- "is that a Mini?" "is that a Morris Minor?" Or "is that one of those Traveler Panel Wagons?" "Crosley? What country did it come from?" (the United States of course) Most of the time it's just "what the heck is that thing?". It is quite unique, and has always been the only one at the shows. Custom paint job has real 24k gold leaf in it, and cost more than my reserve. I have the original seats (bare and rusty) included if you want to get her back to looking a bit stock. Surf boards and rack not included in this auction. A set of California Historic License Plates will come with the car. I am by no means a Crosley expert, or Crosley mechanic of any kind.
