This is a very rare '36 Terraplane (land-plane) which was made by Hudson. They chose the name as the car was very aerodynamic for that period in time. It's one of the very few cars of that era still made with the suicide type front doors, as 1933 and 34 was the heyday of suicide doors. I was going to street rod the car with a chopped top, lower it down, put fender skirts all around, use dark glass, and paint it black.. Enclosed is a photo I was working on. Anyway, the car is untouched, and you could restore it to original if you wish, as all the running gear is there. The grill alone is worth a 1,000. dollars. I sold one over a year ago for 880. dollars, which was missing pieces, and not nearly as nice to a ratrodder. Floors are very solid, with the only rust out in the trunk area, the size of a baseball. The only dents are in the front fenders, a very good body to begin with. The car is very straight and solid, but has surface rust all over, came out of Oklahoma. I bought the car with only a Bill of Sale, and I will give that one to you, as well as a Bill of Sale from me.. I have since bought two 1936 Terraplane titles off eBay, and they also go with the car.. 2,500. dollars cash..I need the money, but might take partial trade on collectibles, such as historical documents, signs, bicycles, antiques, etc. ANY form of payment, EXCEPT cash, will delay the shipping of the car by at least 2 weeks business days for my satisifaction that they are cleared. It's hard to get any more pics where the car is stored in the dark barn.. It is missing the rear bumper, and although the body is perfectly straight on both sides, the rear fenders also need work, just like the front ones do.. Doors shut excellent..There is one of the tiny stainless hood strips missing on the top of the hood panel on the driver's side.. The chrome strip down the middle of the hood, that holds the hood sides together is there, but needs rechromeing..The little orange plastic hood ornament on the top of the hood is missing the back part, only the front part of the "flying carrot" is still there.. I have seen reproductions of these before on eBay, but I don't have one.. I mistakenly told someone that the trunk lid originally had one handle in the middle of the deck lid, but in fact, it had two handles, one on each side.. I don't have the actual handles for it though.. On Jun-02-10 at 15:40:39 PDT, seller added the following information: My son said he saw some extra handles and miscellanous items inside the car, and he thinks these are the deck lid handles..All the window garnish mouldings inside the car are there and in place, as well as all the window crank handles and mechanisms, the door crank handles and the door latches are all there and work fine...
