I have owned this Mercedes since purchasing it, new, from Contemporaray Motors of Little Silver, NJ. It has actully been one of the more trouble-free cars I've ever owned. It has been well maintained and garaged for most of its life in our four-car garage. Sure there are two cracks in the urethane front bumper and a door ding or two. But the paint has held up remarkably well and it is a good looking car. The AC blows COLD, the heater works great, and it goes like CRAZY in the SNOW thanks to 4-wheel drive. Options include: Leather trimmed seating, 8-way power HEATED SEATS, Glass sunroof, 6-Disc CD/cassette player, metallic paint. Please see photo showing original window sticker. Never smoked in. I've replaced the original wheels with newer, nicer, Mercedes ML wheels and tires. Also upgraded were the front headlights which Mercedes improved in later years. There are floor mats all around and a Mercedes mat in the trunk. The inside is pretty clean thanks to regular detailing during its life. The radio STINKS in AM and isn't much better in FM. While not shown in the pictures, all three rear head rests come with the car. We removed and stored them to improve rear view. This ML has been a member of our family since new, but we are getting pretty tired of it. Time for a change. Now for the bad news...The CHECK ENGINE light recently came on. Its most likely the car will not pass stringent New Jersey smog test when inspection is due next month. Our mechanic says "Found air injection ports in left cylinder head clogged. Suggest removing cylinder heads and cleaning all ports." From what I understand, this isn't a difficult job, but it takes a long time. (15-17 hours) It can be pretty expensive it the dealer has to do it. Maybe you and your brother-in-law are handy. Please feel free to contact me for a test drive; you won't be disappointed.
