Vehicle Detail

Welcome to the Blazzr, it is a beast of a car. I have spent countless hours with it, and they were all wonderful. I bought this beautiful monster from a friend in 2006, and spent two years rebuilding it and turning it into a performance truck. Then, it was a project car that needed a lot of work. I pulled the entire drivetrain and rebuilt it with performance modifications, and I rebuilt it well. I also rebuilt the axles, brakes, steering components, and interior. This is an awesome vehicle, the only reason I am selling it is because I am moving out of the country. I will give a full description of all the parts I put in below. This is an excellent truck for people who are interested in auto mechanics. I strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to continue to work on it or wants a car that they can tweak. It is an excellent project truck because it is so big, if you take a look at the pictures of the engine compartment you will see how much room there is to move around. I can comfortably sit inside the engine compartment and work on the motor while it is inside the car. Also, it is high enough off the ground that you can get under it on a dolly quite comfortably. The car is obviously also an excellent off-roader. I have gone mudding in it twice out in Battle Creek, both times it performed quite well. I drove the car to and from Philadelphia, so it can make long trips, but I would recommend getting a car hauler if you live far because the car has been sitting for a year and requires some tweaking every once in a while. Though I am not sure, I think it gets around 15 miles/gallon in two wheel drive on the freeway, and worse otherwise. I am a non-smoker and I loved this car. I treated it with respect, and its condition has only improved since I acquired it. The car has no mechanical problems. It does not have power steering, but the pump is attached it just isn't hooked up. There is obviously some rust, it is an old car. The floorboards are intact (I patched a small section) and the frame is strong. The body has a little rust on it in the back and above the rear wheel wells. The vehicle is kept in my garage. It will be picked up from me directly. The truck should also be picked up within a week. Payment works as follows. I need a 500$ down-payment via paypal within 48 hours of the auction ending, and the rest in cash upon pickup. The vehicle is sold as-is where-is with no warranty implied. Now I will attempt to describe all of the work that I did on the car. MOTOR· Chevy 350 small blocko Block dipped and bored (technically a 353 now)o 4 bolt main (rare and legit)o Crank dippedo Aggressive cam· Hemispherical pistons with new rings, pushrods and lifters· M/T aluminum valve covers· Weiand aluminum intake (400$ value)· Fel-pro gaskets· Heavy duty off-road water pump· Deep oil pan· Cap and rotor – timed. This is a high-performance motor. Most components were replaced with aggressive performance options. The compression ratio is 10 ½ to 1. COOLING · Custom built massive 3-inch thick aluminum race radiator · 2 relay-installed electric pulling fans, one 15 in. the other 13 in. · Two trans-coolers (in case of off-roading or towing use) · The motor and trans never get too hot CARB · Rebuilt Edelbrock carburetor. It came with the car, so I am not positive what model it is, but I think it is a 600 cfm either performer series or thunder series. · The carb has been calibrated to the motor. FUEL DELIVERY (see picture to see parts in order) · Holley electric fuel pump · Oversize Jegs performance fuel filter · Fuel regulator · Fuel pressure gauge TRANSMISSION· Rebuilt Turbo-350 3-speed automatic transmission· Shift kit installed in the valve body – it punches off the shift in every gear· New torque converter· New clutch pads and disks· Remote trans fluid filter (under the hood) · Two trans coolers (incase of off-roading or hauling) INTERIOR· I covered the most of the interior with a thick dark blue shag carpeting. This is comfortable to enough to sleep on but durable enough to do the work of a truck.· I bolted in two wooden benches above the wheel wells in the interior. I also covered them in shag carpeting.· It has the original 1978 removable blazer bed cover. These are rare and valuable and very cool, taking it off gives the truck a very open feel and allows for easier moving.· The car includes a spare rim, but the tire on the rim needs to be replaced before use.I installed reclining racing seats and 4-point racing seatbelts. I also added a sturdy harness bar (in case of collision, the shoulder straps of the 4-points should restrain you from above not below)The Blazzr has the following gaugesFuelSpedometerTachometerVoltimeterOil PressureEngine TempThe Blazzr has the following switches (light up led)Electric fans switchGas pump switch (killswitch – an anti-theft feature. If you turn this switch off, the gas pump wont turn on hence the thief will not get far.)There is also another killswitch under the hood DRIVETRAIN + OTHER Rebuilt axles (pumpkins and new seals and u-joints) Brakes - Replaced entire brake system All New brake lines, pads and rotors for front discs, drums and pads for rear drums Braided steel lines for front disc brakes Exhaust – standard 350 headers to two-turn down cherry bombs (glasspacks). It sounds mean. Kind of like an angry grandpa on steroids. Suspension New mounts, shocks, and struts New steering components Sturdy leafs Rebuilt Transfer case NP 203 cast iron transfer case (great for off-roading) Installed the optional two-wheel four-wheel drive add-on. The Blazzr has real two-wheel drive, meaning better gas mileage when not off-roading or towing.
