Up for auction is a 1946 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup truck. This truck is basically the same as a 1/2 ton, but has heavier running gear with large wheel hubs, springs etc. Box is about 8 inches longer than half ton model. This truck has big potential and is pretty much all there. Vin tag is on passenger side cowl and is stamped into metal tag. Frame is in very good condition. Body mounts are good. Truck has some dents in the fenders and cab near top on rear driver side . Front fender on passenger side has small tear/rip on bottom. Rockers and cab corners are very solid. Floor from in front of seat towards the back of cab is very solid. Has spot of rust on each side in front of rocker panels that is very fixable. This truck is not a rust bucket. The header panel has a couple spots of rust but it is usable. The hood has seperated but is solid straight and usable. Winshield is in fair condition with a couple of rust spots. Running boards are straight with a few rust spots in middle. Doors, door bottoms and interior door panels are in good condition. The box is straight, but has some rust in front panel. All wood has rotted out and makes box look tougher than it is. Running gear is all original and untouched. What you see in the pictures is what you get. This vehicle is not a perfect rust free truck but is a excellent project. Feel free to ask any questions. This vehicle is for sale within the United States only. Vehicle will not be released until full payment is cleared. Vehicle to be picked up within 30 days or as arranged between parties. This truck is sold with a bill of sale only. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. This vehicle is a project vehicle and is not operational. Vehicle will need to be hauled on a trailer or transport vehicle. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs and arrangements.
