This is a '67-'68 Austin Healey Sprite. I am selling this beautiful car because I am in college and I don't have the time or resources to finish restoring it. I bought this car a few years ago and started restoring it over the winter and spring of 2009. When I bought it there was no engine to speak of, since then I have put a slightly older engine out of a MG midget, and it runs very well. the fact that the engine is not an AH does not really matter in a mechanical sense as midgets and sprites are about the same thing. The transmission has given me no problems at all and shifts fine. There is a bit of rust here and there but overall not to bad at all. the divers doors lower hinge needs a bit of work but is an easy fix. there is a scratch on the passengers side fender, but its not to bad. The car has the frame for the clothe top but does not have the clothe. it needs a muffler, right now it only has headers, this works but makes it a bit loud. One of the wheels is slightly warped it drives fine but has some play around 55mph. it also needs a paint job. I have driven this car once this year and the speedometer has stopped working most likely the problem is with the cable, not a big deal, besides that is seems fine to me.
