Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1995 Crown Vic. with P71 Police Package/Police Interceptor. It was originally a Charlotte, North Carolina squad car, and then was used as an assistant fire chiefs car in Wisconsin. I bought the car from him, and am the third owner of the car to my knowledge. I bought the car in 2005, and it had about 80,000 miles on it when I got it. It has been a great car for me, and I still drive it on occasion. This car still has the original police wiring system, spotlight, center console, 4 police antennas, Code 3 push bumper, and reflective striping from the fire department. Just for your info, I have recently seen a similar push bumper and center console going for around $150-200 a piece on eBay. The car also has an after market CD player and fog lights. The car has been well maintained, and regularly serviced. The police child safety lock system has been removed from the back doors, so they can be opened from the inside. The interior is in excellent condition, with no tears or holes in the seats, except for one cigarette burn on the passenger seat that was there when I got it. The car is almost rust free!!! Just some rust on the front push bumper, and a minor rust spot that is forming by one of the wheel wells (see picture). This car starts right up, and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the car drives straight. I have never been in an accident in this vehicle, however, it did end up in a ditch the first winter I had it, but no damage was done to it. Also, it was lightly rubbed up against on the rear passenger side fender when I was at work last fall (see pictures). No damage, other than cosmetic occurred, but a police report was filed. I have had a few repairs done on this vehicle (keeping in mind it is a used police car) but everything was done professionally. The most recent repairs include a new water pump, coolant flush, ball joint replacement, and I had some work done on the rocker arm assembly. As of the now, the rocker arm assembly is secure and has no problems, but the mechanic did mention that this could loosen up again in the future. The exhaust makes a little noise due to a bad seal that needs to be reattached, which has happened before and was a minor fix. The spotlight is working, but currently does not move much due to loose internal parts that are common in these spotlights. The fog lights tend to only work in warm weather, and the driver speaker tends to cut in and out every now and then (especially in cold weather). The tires are in decent condition, with about 40-50% tread left on them. One of the tires was replaced a few thousand miles ago, when the ball joint dislocated on the front passenger side. The drivers door drops a little bit when opened, but it has not been an inconvenience for myself. Also, the drivers door panel is a little loose, but all the controls work on the panel, except the control for the mirrors. The rear passenger door also drops slightly, and can be tricky to open sometimes, but opens just fine. The window on this door operates just fine using the rear passenger door control, but for some reason, the drivers door control will only open the window, but will not close it. I have not used the A/C this year yet, but it has always been icy cold the five years I have had the car. I have described all known problems and recent repairs to the best of my abilities, and the car is being sold AS-IS! I have several spare keys and a locking gas cap for this vehicle, along with the original owners manuals. The car can be test driven before the end of the auction if so desired, and the winning bidder is responsible for pick up or shipment. I will accept cash upon pick up, or PayPal. I ask that you contact me if you have a negative feedback rating or a very low feedback score before you bid. Please ask any questions before bidding, and I will try to respond back to you as quickly as I can. I normally check my messages several times a day. I wish you happy bidding!!!
