1981 DELOREANThis car runs well and still does not fail to turn heads. We purchased this car brand new, put about 6k miles on it, put it in storage from 85-97, put another 5k on it, and then put it back in storage in 2004. Even though the car has low miles, it's had a lot of work done to it and can use a little more. A lot of the items that have been fixed are due to age, not wear and tear. Here's what's been done in the last 6 months - New door struts, recharge AC, and fuel system (corrosion due to old fuel in tank), new battery, front tires (sides cracked, rears are original), . Other repairs done - master cylinder, brake calipers, fuel gauge, exhaust, various hoses, belts, ceiling cloth reglued, rebuilt alternator, electrical work on transmission Items that need work - seam on drivers seat needs to be repaired, crack on dashboard, some dash parts are faded, front plastic shroud is faded. Windows aren't working - one you can hear the motor running so it may be off track. The other you can't hear the motor, so it may just be the switch. Other than the above listed items, everything is stock. Terms of Sale Upon end of auction buyer to pay $1000 non refundable deposit via paypal within 48 hours. Remainder of the balance to be paid within 10 days of action end through money order, wire transfer, cashiers check, or cash. Car has to be picked up within 30 days.
