MY RESERVE IS $14,000.00. Up for auction is a 1931 Ford Model A Slant Windshield Fordor Sedan. From my research there was only 18127 of these model ever made for the year of 1931 and half were Briggs and Half Murray Bodies. Who knows how many still exist. This is one of the most popular body styles Murray body.It is a solid all steel car.The engine has been professionally rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago and cost around $3700.00 to do it properly.It starts easy,runs smooth,shifts and stops like it should.The steering is tight and the car doesn't run all over the road. 3 New Firestone whitewalls were replaced last month. In total i have spent around $5000.00 in the last little while making things right. It is finished in a 2 tone black and tan/cream color with black fenders and green wheels and pinstripe.The paint is good with only a small place on the drivers front fender that has been dinted and touched up also some small cracks in paint from the original paint in 1931.Underneath the car is as clean as the outside. Car has been fully inspected by the BC Ministry of Transport and passed . The interior is believed to be original,is complete and all intact showing a few age and wear spots.It is not RAGGED OUT. This car originally comes from Ontario and has been garage kept since 1931. I am the third owner since purchased. There was a older restoration in 1979. Professionally rebuilt engine, brakes,clutch, steering, front end and generator. Engine runs really well and has lots of pep. Transmission works well and shifts like it should. There is a cracked window on the passenger side rear and a small corner crack in the windshield. Some of the door pins are a little worn so new ones would be a good idea although the doors still close ok. The horn did work but now died so it needs to be fixed or rebuilt.This car is ready to drive, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time or for any reason. This car is sold in as is condition and has no returns. I have provided all information i know but i do have lots of more pictures if bidders want to see. A $1000.00 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours after auction ends. The deposit can be made by paypal or cashier's check. The remainder is due within 7 days after auction ends. The remaining amount can be made in person with cash, or cashier's check. Also a bank draft, cashiers check or a bank wire can be made and Fedexed. If final amount is not recieved within 7 days i will cancel the transaction. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and any other related costs after the sale and shippment. I will try to help in finding info for shipping if asked. This Vehicle is in Victoria B.C. Canada and if someone from the usa is interested in bidding and is the winner it can be transported to the border where a transport company will continue the shipping.
