Vehicle Detail

OK, here it is, in bottom dollar form. Everyone is interested and keeps asking what is the bottom dollar. I am about to transfer cross country from Cali to Virginia and space is limited. I can't take the car with me, so here's your chance to get a deal. I have the "Buy it Now" set at what I have in the car, the reserve is slightly lower to generate a sale. For sale is my 1964 GTO post coupe. It has a built 428 with 6X heads, a Performer RPM intake and a 750 double pumper that dumps through Hooker Competition headers and into a dual 3" exhaust with Dynaflow mufflers. The trans is a Muncie M-21 4spd with a hurst shifter and a narrowed 12 bolt posi with 4:11's. The only fuel tank is an 8 gallon fuel cell in the trunk. The whole rebuilt drive train has about 4000 miles on it. It is powerful and sounds mean as hell. The motor is out of a 1968 Pontiac Catalina. It came stock with 390 hp and 465 ftlbs of torque. That was without the 6X heads or any of the other hi performance parts that are now on it. It runs great on pump gas. I run 92 octane with no pining or hesitation at all. The entire interior is new with most parts from OPG. It also has a new Desert Cooler 4 row radiator, new starter, Mallory ingnition and electric fuel pump and a power brake conversion with disc brakes up front. There are too many other new odds and ends to list here. It is in driver condition so the paint is not perfect (but is damn nice) and there are some things that could use some attention. The rear body mount needs to be repaired, the rollers on the front windows are bad, the speedo doesn't work and the wipers and turn signals need help too. With the exception of the gas gage (fuel cell), all other gages work. The floors are solid. There was rust in the front, but I cut it out and replaced it with new metal before I put in the carpet. The color is actually a Mitsubishi color. It's Durrango Copper, but Orange was the closest thing they had on the list. I have just about every receipt from the engine build and the rest of the restoration. I also have the PHS documentation so you can be sure there ain't no clone crap here. The car has Weld Pro Lite rims on it with BF Goodrich tires (Drag Radials out back). The backs are wider and taller than the front which fills the wheel wells nicely and gives the car the perfect rake. The car has to sell, so make me an offer. Let me know what you got and what you want. You never know. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time. Good luck
