THIS GAL LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO HOW SHE CAME OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR IN 1967....... This Gorgeous Galaxie 500 Convertible has had a frame up resotration and complete engine rebuild. NO RUST, NO BONDO, and an ahhhhhhmazing paint job, and professional reupholstery. Low miles in the rebuild and the original odometer reading is the miles on the chassis. The low sweet rumble from the dual exhausts and super high gloss shine, is a real head turner and never fails to draw a crowd of admirers. She's won many car shows classes, Best Restored, Best Convertible, Best Ford Classic, etc., from Canada to the N.W. It's such a excellent machine and easily goes along at freeway speeds with plenty of power for passing too. The economical 289 is so fuel efficient and gets great gas mileage. This car is not a daily driver, and has been driven to car shows or events, stored in a temperature controlled building and well maintained. The top works perfectly and has the original back window. There is a small amount of wear at the back corners of the top. There is a custom made spare tire cover and boot. Undercoated on chassis, trunk and engine compartment. Original AM radio and Ford hubcaps. There are some tiny details of the interior that are required to be 100% such as door moulding trim on the door edges, one snap needs repaired on the boot. Overall this is an impeciabelly restored and well maintained Classic Gal. Included with the car are two dust covers, one soft under cover and a heavier dust resistent cover. The Owners Manual is also included and some of the awards plaques. It has been in a major television show and also a commerical print ad. Classic Cars continue to be a good investment and their values rise each year with quality care. They sure don't make them any more and finding a totally complete car with all the exterior trim, original dash, etc., are few and far between.
