Vehicle Detail
Hello You are looking at my 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix. It is a good little car and has a lot of get up and go.I had previously listed this car back in December, because i was in my first year of college and i could not have a car down there. Unfortunately we Held the car for the buyer and he just never contacted us back and we still have the car.I Have started it on three separate occasions since then and have moved it around. One this i did find out is that it might need a new battery or it just drained from not being run for months at a time. But i just charged the battery up, so it should be good to get the car wherever you plan on taking it. I would start driving it again but i am getting My mothers explorer so there is no need for it to I purchased this Car back in august of 08. Since then i have do a few things to it. I replace both of the rear Struts, It had a new gas tank on it, and new brake lines. I put a new Cd player with Ipod connector in it. It also has New Sony Xplode Speakers in the back. This car has no troubles driving in the Snow, and When your on the highway you can press the peddle down and go as fast as you want. The Car is gonna need an Inspection because it ran out in August 09 when i went off to school. I know it will need about 300$ in work to get it inspected simply because it has a small crack on the frame. But if your a welder you might just be able to fix it yourself. Also to mention a few other minor things that do not effect the performance of the car at all in the Rear view mirror has a slight car down the right side of it because my friend was being stupid and hit it Thus causing the crack. Also the you cannot open the truck from the outside because the lock it broken, up there is a button in the glove box that opens it, its been that was since i purchased it and it didn't bother me at all. Finally you are going to need to get a new Drivers side door handle because, when i was snowing one night it froze it and i yanked on it to get it opened and the latch inside broke. But i just opened it by reaching through the passengers side. The part will maybe cost 9$ at your local junk yard. The tires on the maybe have 5000-6000 miles on the and they are relatively new. I would recommend since the car is not inspected that you tow the car back to your house, but it is completely your choice. This car would make a great second vehicle or just something that you have to drive in the winter months. It will get roughly between 18-25 miles per gallon. it all depends on how you drive it. Of course it does have the typical rust for being 14 years old and some of the clear coat is peeling in 2 spots but its nothing that bad. Thanks For looking and the Car is being Sold As-Is
