Vehicle Detail
GMC 1500 regular cab 4x4. GM crate motor 30-40k miles. New (rebuilt) transmission 20k. Truck runs great. Lots of new parts. Radiator, starter, fuel pump, alternator, distributer, U joints on the front axel (fun job that was), master cylinder, front brakes. Exhaust is solid, cat included. 4x4 works good no problems. I never plowed with the truck. Previous owner used it often so the transmission had to be replaced (over 2g's into that - local shop). All the parts are there for the plow I just removed the plow frame from the truck. I used it for trips to Home Depot and taking things to the dump. It's sprung pretty heavy on the front to hold up a plow. Heat will cook you right out of the cab. No AC. This isn't something to look at if your after a perfect truck by no means. It's an 84, it's got lots of rust I'm not going to lie about that. It would make a good plow truck or project or even a drivetrain donor for for another vehicle. Motor, transmission and other parts are really what your bidding on. It does run great though and with some attention might be what you need. I just need it out of the driveway (no reserve), got another truck that needs the space. Feel free to email questions. On May-23-10 at 08:08:06 PDT, seller added the following information:I've been asked a few times about driving this truck to different places and it it would make it or not. I've had this truck as far as Philadelphia to pick up boat parts, Boston, Springfield Mass and other places over an hour from my house. It's an old truck and not that comfortable but it makes it. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive it just about anywhere. The strongest asset with this one is how well it runs. I lost the gas gage last week, not sure if it's a wire or the sender so you would have to keep an eye on the milage.
