HERE'S A 1941 CHEVY 1.5 or 2 TON TRUCK WHICH I HAD BROUGHT TO ATLANTA FROM NORTH DAKOTA. THE GENTLEMAN I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID HE USED IT TO FEED HIS HORSES. IT IS NOT A RESTORED TRUCK AS THE PICTURES WILL TELL, HOWEVER, IT DOES SEEM TO BE ON A 12 VOLT SYSTEM NOW. I HAVE A CAR HAULER AND WILL DELIVER FOR $3.75 A MILE UP TO 350 MILES FROM MARIETTA, GEORGIA 30062. IF YOU LIVE FURTHER THAN THAT WE CAN TALK BUT I WOULD RATHER NOT DRIVE TOO FAR...I HAVE A REGULAR JOB TO TEND TO. IF YOU WANT TO SEND A TRUCK TO PICK IT UP, THAT WOULD BE GREAT TOO. THIS IS THE PASSENGER SIDE. LOOK CLOSELY AT ALL OF THE PICTURES. YOU WILL SEE IT HAS DENTS AND WELDS ON THE FENDERS, BUT NO RUST OUT ON THE BODY EXCEPT FOR THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE DOORS. THE ROCKER PANELS HAVE NO RUST ON THEM. THE DUMP BED WORKS AND HAS WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL WOOD. IT ALSO HAS A 2 SPEED REAR END. I BELIEVE THIS IS A 2 TON TRUCK BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO TELL. THIS WOULD MAKE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A CAR HAULER. I BELIEVE IT HAS IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT. THE RED IS SLIGHTLY FADED. I COULD HAVE PROBABLY BUFFED IT TO MAKE IT SHINE BUT I WANTED TO LET THE BUYER GET IT WITHOUT A WHITE-WASH JOB TO TRICK THOSE OF YOU WHO WILL BID ON IT. I WOULD PREFER YOU COME AND LOOK IN PERSON. NOBODY CAN DESCRIBE IT AS GOOD AS YOUR OWN EYES. HERE, YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THE DENTS I WAS TALKING ABOUT. I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE PUSHED IT OUT BUT I'M NO BODY MAN SO I'LL LEAVE THAT TO THE NEW OWNER. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE RUNNING BOARDS HAVE WEAR ON THE PAINT BUT THEY HAVE NO RUST AND ARE STURDY ENOUGH FOR ME TO BOUNCE ON THEM AND THEY DON'T FLEX. LOOK AT THE DOOR BOTTOM TO SEE THE ONLY PLACE THERE IS RUST. I SHOW IT BETTER IN THE NEXT PHOTO. THIS ONE SHOWS IT BETTER. YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE ROCKER PANEL UNDER THE DOOR. IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ON IT. NOW THE DRIVER SIDE. ALMOST A MIRROR IMAGE OF THE PASSENGER SIDE. AND A CLOSE UP OF THAT SIDE AS WELL. HERE, THE PAINT LOOKS GOOD ON THE FENDERS BUT THEY DO HAVE WELD REPAIRS TO THE TOP CENTER AREA. BEING A FARM TRUCK, IT WAS NOT UNUSUAL FOR THEM TO DO THESE KIND OF QUICK FIXES. THE TIRES HOLD AIR WELL BUT THE SIDE WALLS ARE DRIED OUT AND YOU WILL NEED TIRES TO MAKE IT STREET WORTHY. THE CENTER HOOD HINGE NEEDS NEW RIVETS TO TIGHTEN IT UP. NOTHING TOO SERIOUS. THE TRUCK WILL NEED BRAKES LOOKED AT. IT NEEDS THE WHEEL CYLINDERS REBUILT BECASUE THEY LEAK. THIS SHOT SHOWS THE PIVOT END OF THE HYDRAULIC PISTON. IT SEEMS THE HOSE WAS REPLACED NOT TO LONG AGO. THE RUBBER LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. THIS IS ANOTHER SHOT OF THE DUMP MECHANISM. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE THE STEEL PLATE REINFORCER ADDED TO THE OUTER FRAME RAILS. THIS IS WHY I THINK IT IS A 2 TON TRUCK OR BETTER. NOW THE PASSENGER SIDE BACK CORNER OF THE CAB. THE PAINT IS FLAKED BUT THERE IS NO RUST AT ALL. THIS SHOT OF THE BACK CAB WALL IS REALLY QUITE AMAZING TO ME. USUALLY YOU SEE HEAVY RUST-OUT HERE. AGAIN, IT IS NEAR PERFECT. THE DRIVER SIDE CORNER LOOKS JUST AS NICE. ONE CHANGE I SEE IS THEY HAVE MOUNTED THE BATTERY ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE BED INSTEAD OF UNDER THE FLOOR BOARD. THIS IS A REAR SHOT OF THE GRAIN-BED. THIS SHOWS PAINT MISSING FROM THE DRIVER DOOR AREA. THERE ARE 2 HOLES THAT NEED FILLING WHERE THE ORIGINAL MIRROR WAS ATTACHED. THE OTHER DOOR HAS A DOLLAR SIZED SPOT ON IT ABOUT CENTER DOOR. THIS IS JUST A SURFACE TYPE OF RUST. NO REAL DAMAGE. NOW THE MOTOR VIEW. IT APPEARS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL STRAIGHT SIX MOTOR BUT I WOULDN'T KNOW HOW TO TELL SO YOU BE THE JUDGE. THIS TRUCK FIRES RIGHT UP. I HAVE NEVER TAGGED IT SO I HAVE NOT DRIVEN IT AT STREET SPEEDS. THIS IS THE BEST I COULD DO FOR GETTING THE RADIATOR. IT DOES NOT LEAK THAT I CAN TELL. ALL OF THE GUAGES APPEAR TO WORK. IT HAS THE ADD-ON TURN SIGNALS. SOME BULBS MIGHT NEED REPLACING. THE STEERING WHEEL LOOKS PRETTY NICE AS WELL. MOST OF THE ONES I HAVE SEEN HAVE BAD CRACKS OR MISSING MATERIAL IN THEM. THIS PICTURE OF THE DASH KNOBS DIDN'T COME OUT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD. MOST OF THE KNOBS ARE ORIGINAL BUT I THINK THE CHOKE HAS BEEN REPLACED. THIS IMAGE SHOWS THE HANDLE FOR THE 2 SPEED REAR END (closest one which is shorter), THE GEAR SHIFTER (the taller one), AND UP AGAINST THE SEAT IS THE DUMP PTO ENGAGER AND BEHIND THAT IS THE UP AND DOWN LEVER. IF YOU LOOK TO THE FAR SIDE YOU CAN SEE THE PASSENGER SIDE HEATER. THERE IS ALSO A DRIVER SIDE HEATER. PROOF POSITIVE THAT THIS CAME FROM A NORTH DAKOTA FARM. IT SURE GETS COLD THERE IN THE WINTER TIME. THIS SHOT SHOWS THE ORIGINAL HEAD LINER WHICH NEEDS REPLACING BECAUSE IT SAGS. ALSO THE ROOF IS DENTED DOWN AS IF KIDS PLAYED ON TOP OF IT BUT IT SHOULD PUSH OUT EASILY. THE BENCH SEAT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. IT SITS COMFORTABLY WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING IT. THE REASON I AM SELLING THIS BECAUSE I HAD BOUGHT A 1940 TRUCK AT THE SAME TIME IN NORTH DAKOTA AND I REALLY ONLY WANTED THE 1940. I BOUGHT BOTH IN THE PACKAGE TO GET A BETTER INDIVIDUAL PRICE. I PAID $1500 FOR THIS TRUCK AND 1/2 OF THE FUEL COST TO HAUL BOTH TRUCKS DOWN TO GEORGIA WAS $450. I AM ONLY TRYING TO GET BACK WHAT I HAVE IN IT. IF IT SHOULD MAKE A PROFIT FOR ME, THEN I AM BLESSED. WELL, I HOPE I HAVE DESCRIBED IT WELL FOR YOU. MOST IMPORTANTLY I WOULD LIKE TO STRESS THAT THIS IS JUST A GREAT TRUCK FOR AN ALMOST UNTOUCHED ORIGINAL TRUCK. IT IS NOT A PRISTINE VEHICLE AND I AM SURE THE PICTURES MAKE IT LOOK BETTER THAN IT IS. THAT IS WHY I WOULD LIKE YOU TO LOOK IN PERSON IF POSSIBLE. IT HAS SOME LIGHTS THAT NEED ATTENTION, THE HEAD LINER (though original) SAGS AND NEEDS TO BE REMOVED OR REPLACED AND BOTH OF THE DOOR GLASSES ARE CRACKED. I LIKE THE OLD LOOK OF THE BED BUT IF YOU PLAN TO USE IT FOR HAULING YOU WILL PROBABLY WANT TO REPLACE THE WOOD. IT DOES RUN AND DRIVE BUT A TUNE UP WOULDN'T HURT. THE BRAKES WORK BUT I THINK THERE IS AIR IN THE LINES THAT NEEDS TO BE BLED. I SUGGEST TO HAVE THEM REPLACED. IT COMES WITH A NORTH DAKOTA TITLE. I HAVE NOT TRIED TO TAG IT IN GEORGIA YET SO IT IS STILL A NORTH DAKOTA TITLE THAT HAS BEEN SIGNED. BID TO OWN IT!!!! PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU CAN PAY FOR IT.
