Now, a little about the history of this specific 740iL. This car has been owned by one owner since it was new. It was recently traded into a BMW dealership in New Jersey. We purchased it from them to offer to our friends here on ebay. The car is absolutely smothered in rare options, most amazingly, the BMW Individual Champagne and Navy blue interior. The educated buyer will win here. This car's high mileage will score the buyer an amazing deal, but these BMWs run forever, and this one has been maintained to a superior level. This car is optioned in a very interesting way. It has the sport package with M parallel wheels, S-EDC, and shadowline trim, but has upgraded comfort seats, and 4 spoke heated steering wheel (yes, it works!). The interior of this car is spectacular. The Champagne premium leather is in beautiful shape, as are the dash and the carpets. The seats are piped with contrasting navy blue which makes for a beautiful accent. The car has 2 zone automatic climate control which even allows for multiple fan speeds. The car has its original carpet floor mats which are in excellent condition. It has the DSP audio system which sounds very good. This car has the very rare widescreen navigation which works perfectly. This was only available in the very last E38 BMWs made. For safety, this BMW has, of course, dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags, and BMW's HPS Curtain Airbags. The keyless entry system works. The owners manual booklet is all there. All four keys are included. The outside of this BMW is beautiful and is finished in very rare Night Blue. The car is in exceptionally nice condition for its age. There arent any major imperfections in the exterior. Just some very minor stone chips on the hood, and some very minor door dings. The car has the staggered M-Parallel wheels. To address the accident reported on carfax. The accident was a low speed parking lot situation which required no paintwork to repair. Just the beltline trim piece on the left side of the rear bumper was replaced. This 740iL retains ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL PAINT. I have been driving this 740iL as my personal vehicle for the last week or so. It runs perfectly, and gets so many looks. The tires are staggered Continental ContiSportContacts with good life remaining. The Air Conditioning system was also just serviced with new pressure lines and a new compressor. The car is very smooth on the highway with no shakes. All accessories have been tested and work, including power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control. There aren't even any dead pixels in the instrument cluster.
