1969 Chev Nova Big Block 454----Engine casting #14015445----Engine code #CEV122273 (Factory warranty Engine)----Edelbrock Intake SP2-P 2-0----Holley Carb 80457-2 1569----Hooker Headers----Ten Bolt rear end----Turbo 400 Transmission---- I bought this car a little over a year ago as a project which to date hasn't been started as there are three projects ahead of it, so decided to sell. Although this car does run and drive I consider it a PROJECT. The person I bought the car from said the motor and transmission had been rebuilt, but he didn't have any documentation, so you can take that for what it is worth. The motor sounds very good, does't smoke and runs strong. The transmission shift fine. The paint is new and looks good from a distance, but you can pick it apart when really looking. The fuel tank and exhaust system are also new. There is minor rust in the floor pan and has a small patch on the passenger side, the floor braces are all solid. The trunk is solid. All body pannels appear to be original. This car was born with a 6 cylinder and was Butternut Yellow COWL TAG ST 69 11427 WRN 233932 BDY TR 731 40-40 PNT 12C Nova cowl tags have been known to be incorrect when determing original engine. Many tags were stamped V8 even though a 4 or 6 cylinder was installed. The VIN will always overide the cowl tag when there is a discrepancy between the two.
