No Reserve! Original owner, non-smoker, well-maintained classic Saab. Wife picked it up from the factory in Sweden. I don't think this is a parts car; this one is as rust free as you will find for a 1992. I've added pictures of the bottom of the doors, bottom of car on a lift, and the lift back. If you have any other potential rust spot you want to see, let me know. If this is your first time seeing this listing, I have plenty of other pictures. I will email whatever you would like to see. I've replaced some of the original pictures with these based on requests from different folks. I hadn't driven the car in a while, and the engine ran rough yesterday. If that continues and I can't figure it out, I will end the listing early and relist later. I will drive it to work every day this week (25+ miles per day). Original leather, power seats, heated seats, power windows and locks, power sun roof, Michelin HydroEdge tires with good tread. JVC AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with audio input jack, cruise control, air conditioner works. Optional cluster gauge on dash. Original paint. New platinum spark plugs, new brake pads last summer, new Bosch fuel pump and fuel filter last summer, new clutch and clutch slave & master cylinders at 120K, new crankshaft pully and rear motor seal in 2007, new voltage regulator 2007. Passenger seat leather in reasonable shape. Rear seat leather in excellent shape. Headliner in great shape. Carpet in great shape except for wear on driver side. It runs well. Needs: fuel sending unit (fuel gauge and low light do not work), driver side mirror glass missing, driver seat bottom leather in bad shape, temperature gauge on optional cluster doesn't work, but the standard in-dash temp gauge works. Included are two front seat slip covers and floor mats. These are removed in the pictures so you can see the original leather and carpet. Sold "As Is". I can send high resolution pictures.On May-22-10 at 13:42:49 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE! I am still working the rough running engine. This car is for sale "AS IS". The engine runs great most of the time, but I get an occasional Check Engine light and the engine runs rough. This happens for just a bit, and then everything returns to normal like it never happened. I've put roughly 25 miles a day on it this week, and it's gotten me everywhere I needed (odometer now at 174888). The spark plugs were changed last October, and I just checked the air filter. I am taking it for an oil change today and doing a few other things. If the Check Engine light gets resolved, I will update the listing. I also have new pictures of the lift back after I cleaned off the dirt, but I can't post those since there are bids. I will email them to eveyone who has sent me their email address. I don't know where to look for rust, but I've taken several pictures of spots people have asked for. Email if you have any requests for pictures. There is no rush on my end to pick up the car as long as the winner closes the sale per the listing instructions. The car would be stored outdoors, and I won't take liability for any damage or loss after the sale closes. Picture #5 shows a small dent behind the rear tire just above the bumper. It's hard to see in the picture, but it's there. There are some chips in the windshield; it's the original windshield. I've repaired some, but there's a new one smaller than a dime. I put in a bottle of STP Gas Treatment, and I had the fuel system cleaned which seems to have fixed the problem. I just drove it 23 miles without any hint of the original problem. We're going back out for a long drive now. The mechanic asked if I had let the car sit for a while and whether I used gas with ethanol. I said yes to both. He said that the ethanol had gelled and was clogging the system. He said there was evidence of a lot of gunk in the system after he finished. I had the oil changed, an engine additive (TX7)added to the system, and the fuel system cleaned at a local shop today. I have no more concerns about the engine running rough, even for someone who plans a long drive home. Good power and acceleration. Odometer now reads 174954. Air conditioner continues to work without any problems. I will check email tonight and tomorrow afternoon until about 5:00 pm eastern.
