Vehicle Detail
This is the cheapest you will find on ebay. The last Repsol auction ended at 8,300 which i know is crazy, but if you don't believe me just enter the ebay id # 230473768205. Compare this one to others currently on ebay and you'll see this is by far the best deal. The past couple of repsol look-a-likes that have sold here on ebay have gone for over 5k with the cheapest one at 5,5xx and that was with some fairly obvious wear and tear. I know this because i've been watching very closely so i could appropriately price mine. Whomever buys the bike will be getting a great machine at a more than fair price. This bike carries a clean and clear title that can easily be registered in all 50 states. This is a NO RESERVE auction so the last bidder will be the new owner. Please take the time to read through the whole auction here. If you have any questions about anything ask questions.....do not assume anything. The bike is a 2004 1krr that has been changed to the Repsol paint scheme(05 was the first year Honda came out with that paint scheme and the real Repsol bikes are 05, 07, 09 which are all only very slight cosmetic changes from the regular standard 1krr). This was done before i got the bike so i have no idea when/why it was done. Body work is OEM plastics not that poor fitting china stuff. Rims were just powder coated Repsol orange and look great. Really brings the whole bike together, as most folks that do this paint scheme change don't bother putting on the correct color rims and leave their black ones on the bike which leave everything looking a bit off. There are 18,xxx miles on the bike with the valve inspection done at 16k and all was within spec so no adjustments needed. Tires are nearly brand new and fluids are fresh. Obviously with 18k+ miles on the bike its not going to be perfect. I included pics some of the blems. Although i have not dropped the bike one can suspect that it has been at least tipped over at some point in its life, but the bike looks great for its age/miles. Rides straight as an arrow with nothing out of the ordinary to speak of. Matter of fact it rides more like a newer low mileage bike with no slop in the head stock/brearings/races, suspension, etc. Its all stock aside for the HID(high/low) lights and the rear seat cowl. No passenger seat or pegs. The only time i'll entertain an offer is if you are standing in front of me with cash in your hand. Fly into Tampa St. Pete/Clwtr or Sarasota/Bradenton and ride the bike home. Or the buyer can procure shipping for the bike through any of the numerous shipping companies all over the country. The bike can be brought to a shippers terminal in the TampaBay area(Pinellas, south Pasco, Hillborough, west Polk, Manatee, north Sarasota counties), but there will be a 50 dollar fee to do so. This will help to cover some of the fuel costs to bring the bike to where ever the shipper may be. If you have a shipper lined up that can meet within 5 miles of my home i'll gladly do so for free. The bike can be stored for a couple weeks(up to 2) if need be so the new owner can get transportation figured out without putting themselves in a bind. Anything after that will start incurring a 25 dollar a day storage fee up to 2 weeks. After that the bike will be considered abandon property of which all ownership rights and monies will be forfeited. Anyone is welcome to test ride the bike........AS LONG AS I HAVE A WAD OF CASH (OF A PREDETERMINED AMOUNT) IN MY HANDS. This is to protect me should something happen to the bike while in someone elses possession. If you break it, or damage it, you bought it. Payment: These terms are NOT negotiable....if you can't/wont abide by these then do no bid on the motorcycle. Bike MUST be paid in full within 5 days of auctions end. Weekends and holidays will count as part of those days. The bike will not be released under any circumstance until all funds have cleared into my account. Yes, bank checks, bank drafts, money orders, etc. can take up to 14 full days before clearing on the receivers/depositors end. Its not the time upon which the issuing institution says they made payment, but clearance happens when the funds are fully released into my account. This is why it is suggested to bring cash with you. Or you can have a bank check made out to yourself and then cash it back to yourself at the local branch upon arrival. If doing this you will want to call ahead to the branch you plan on cashing at to let them know your plans. Some of the branches around here are on the smaller side so they may need a heads up to be prepared for your arrival. This is very important. If you do not have the means to immediately pay for the motorcycle then do not place a bid until you have secured the funds. The time to ponder whether to buy the bike is while the auction is running. After the fact is not the time to try to figure out if you want it or can afford it. If you are the high bidder when the auction ends that means you now own it and must pay for it. By bidding you are entering a contract to buy the item bid upon. Its not the right to be able to start asking questions about the bike. Make sure you ask all the questions you need to have answered before auctions end and your bid. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL, ASK THE QUESTIONS BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION! Couldn't figure out how to put some type between the pics so i'll have to put it down here. Pay attention cause most sellers will never bother pointing out every little thing that's not mint on their bike. One should be able to see the nick on the windscreen that i'm pointing to. Its small but not invisible. To the left of that one can see me pointing to a light scratch over the Repsol decal on the high beam side of the upper. Next would be the right mid and then a close up as well. None of which interferes with the ability to be mounted up and stable. Next would be the corner of the tail fairing. Because of the color of the paint this is actually fairly difficult to notice at a glance. Plus its on the underside of the bulge/curve so that makes it less conspicuous. The last blem pic would be of the right lower. This probably happened when someone either forgot to put their feet down when coming to a stop, or lost their footing, which resulted in a light tip over. Due to the lack of hardly any damage i can only imagine the bike was caught right before touching the ground, or someone was partially under the bike and helped cushion the decent. Either way its mostly unnoticable and quite honestly nobody has ever mentioned anything about it. The only pic i couldn't get would be the very back of the front hugger that has a crack and small chip missing. Its buried under the bike so much i couldn't find any angle to be able to snap a shot of it. Promise you nobody will ever be able to see that. You might have not have known about it for a looooong time had i simply not said anything. Buuuut i'd want to know if i were buying which is why i'm telling. Even with all the things i've pointed out the bike is well worth the reserve. Don't let the blems i pointed out scare ya. They don't take anything away from the overall look of the bike which is in great shape. They are simply mentioned, or pointed out, so the buyer would not get any surprizes and know fully what they are buying. I could have done like all the rest on here and posted only a couple low quality pics from far away and never mention any blems. But then the buyer may be pissed once the bike showed up. Some blems might have gone unnoticed for a very long time, yet at least with the close up high quality pics you know what conditon the bike is in and exactly what you are getting. As i mentioned earlier in the description......if you have any questions at all make sure you ask them BEFORE the auction ends. You can make an offer in the bike, but don't bother asking 'what's the reserve' or 'how much is it going to take' or anything of the sort. Bring me your best offer and i'll consider it.
