Up for sale is a 1975 Jeep CJ-5. I do not know a whole lot about it. I do not know if it has 27,xxx miles or 127,xxx. I bought it two weeks ago from a friend without the wheels and tires on it. I was going to part it out. If no one bids on it, I will part it out. The thing runs great, starts right up. 3 speed (T14a AFAIK) transmission (3 forward speeds, 1 reverse, the position of reverse is forward and to the left (where 1st gear is in most other manual transmissions)). 4x4 transfer case which I believe is a Dana 20. 4x4 works great! as do the locking hubs, spin freely to both locked and unlocked positions. Dana 44 big rear end, dana 30 front, 3.73 gears, I believe. good tread on 3 matching tires (4th needs a patch), and the jeep is currently running what was the spare in the rear (meaning the jeep comes with 5 tires and wheels total, one needs a patch). The turn signals and lights seem to work, including the flashing of the turn signals, brake lights, headlights, etc seem to work. windshield fold right on down, as shown in pictures. The floor has been replaced previously, so no holes under driver's feet! I installed the driver's seat, and do not have a bracket for the passenger's side seat, so it is not currently bolted down... I may have a bracket for it sitting around. I also have a CJ5 top and doors sitting around which I can include with the jeep if the new buyer would like. I have lots of CJ parts around. This jeep does not include that ever start battery it is pictured with, I need it for my truck. I do believe I have another battery around it can go with. comes with da Clear title. Areas needing attention: paint, small rust holes here and there like the top of the windshield frame (look at the pictures),and the paint is older... In terms of the brakes; I have not added fluid, all I did was start it up, drive it around my street, and park it. During the 1 mile or so drive, I tested all 3 forward gears and reverse, they all work great, as does the clutch. all transfer case gears work too, I climbed the little hills near my driveway for fun and to test the old jeep out... 4x4 works fine.
