Let me say before starting, should you bid on this vehicle please honor the transaction procedures set down in the ad. This one is being relisted due to an ebay member that not only did not pay for it but did not even follow through with the notification process after it sold. I want to sell the car, not just list it for the fun of it. If you are looking for something totally unique, look no further. This is a 1957 Audi (Auto Union) Munga. The vehicle originally was a military combat type vehicle. Some of them had large weapons mounted up top and were used for patrol in parts of the European theatre. This particular vehicle was customized by a man in Panama City, Florida a few years back to accomodate a 1968 Volkswagen chasis and running gear. There was much work done on this neat little ride and it was put together superbly. The volkswagen engine and tranny make it cheap to operate and it is a blast on the beach, out in the hunting woods, or just tooling around town. I believe it get's the most attention of any vehicle I have owned, everybody wants to look at it and crawl all over it to see how it was put together. I have had a blast driving it but other projects are begging for my attention. The Munga has relatively new military (jeep) type tires, five of them, and the interior has just been done as well. It will seat four and you can travel with the bikini top on or removed. I sort of like to drive it around with the top off, it's just too cool. I have had serveral people ask if this vehicle has headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and windshield wipers. It does have all the lights listed but currently does not have windshield wipers that are operable. It did not have them when I purchased it and since it has a bikini top and no doors I don't really wirry about wipers. I just drive it mostly on sunny days or off road. There is a clear Florida title waiting for the next owner and I can deliver the vehicle for a fee, just let me know how you want to handle the transport.
