1962 Buick Electra 225 4dr Hardtop This is an Upstate N.Y. car that I pulled out of a barn. The fellow I bought the car from said that is Grandfather bought this car used in late 1963. Sat in the barn for 15 years. This complete unmolested Electra has a Wildcat 445/401 Nailhead engine with the 2 speed Dyna-flow transmission. The 401 runs and drives. Engine and transmission both work and run well. The brakes work but do need some work. There is frame rust on the rear rails, past the rear wheels.....repairable, not bad. The undercarriage is a little rough though, not serious, just the lower sheetmetal is soft. The interior is 100% complete but is shows its age. Even the power windows work and the interior and exterior lights as well. This Electra has all four of its factory floor mats. Also has orginal tissue dispenser, which is a very hard to find item. All of the bright work is intact...missing NOTHING! Trunk is big and some minor rust around the perimeter near the tail lights. Not in lower pan. You can call 607-638-5751 for more information.
