This is a 1988 Toyota Pickup 5SPD 4x4 22RE(4cyl.) with 289k Manual Locking Hubs. 4" Body Lift. 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers (10-15% tread left). The original chassis setup is a single cab short bed. I took the original bed off and installed a flat bed and "bobbed" the back end off up to the brace. I made a custom steel bumper for the rear that has a built in hitch and is very solid. The engine was overhauled about 15000mi. ago and runs awesome (No papers on it).It received bigger overhead cams and lifters and gaskets in the top end as well. The only gasket that wasn't replaced was the oil pan gasket which i have (just haven't had time) but leaks due to the previous owner using RTV as a gasket sealer. I Bought it in Kansas City over a year ago and drove it here on the highway 70mph all the way and was completely fine. The clutch is awesome and has a stage 2 clutch in it. The Exhaust system is all new and welded with no leaks and new muffler.It also has a new starter and alternator. It's missing the driver's side mirror and the turn signals are not working. The frame behind the cab on the drivers side should be welded sometime soon. It's an easy job I just don't hace the resources to do it. It has been repainted as well. The origonal color was grey. I repainted it myself in a booth and it is not prefect. I use it as a daily driver and is one reliable truck!
