1972 Jeep CJ-5 304ci AMC V8 - Lifted - Warn Winch - Lockers - - Arizona Desert Jeep - Selling with NO RESERVE!! Beautiful Victory White with Tan Interior! Stout and Very Capable Desert Jeep! Here is a super cool 1972 Jeep CJ-5 which has all the goodies added to make this thing haul! As far as I can tell this has been a desert jeep all its life and is totally solid underneath and has a very nice rust free all steel tub. It has a nice lift, powerful winch, and all of the go-fast upgrades that make this a real JEEP! The following is a list of options as this Jeep is currently equipped: -Original 304ci 5.0L AMC V8 -Carter Performer 4bbl Carburetor -Edelbrock Performer Intake -Headman Headers -Flowmaster Dual Side Exhaust -3 Speed Manual Transmission -Warn Front Locking Hubs -3" Shackle Lift -1" Body Lift -Rancho RS9000 Shocks and Steering Stabilizer -31" BF Goodrich Mud Terrain Tires -Original Chrome 15" Jeep Wheels -Warn Winch w/ Corded Remote -Heavy Duty Front and Rear Bumpers -Standard Tow Receiver -Factory Gauges The body on the Jeep is totally solid and rust free. I have inspected the body and can not find a single spot of rust or repair patches whatsoever beside 2 or 3 pea size bubbles here and there. The Jeep has lived its life in dry climates and has always been well cared for. The paint on the Jeep is a newer repaint and is in good driver quality and doesn't show any serious dents or scratches. The Jeep has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as an western car should be. The Jeep has a nice set of redone soft half doors but also will include an older set of full soft doors and a tan soft top. The jeep looks very nice with the diamond plate rear protectors and a swing away spare tire holder. The Jeep has a very nice heavy duty Warn winch installed on the special front bumper. It has a corded remote for those sticky situations. The car is riding on the original Jeep 15" wheels with 31" Mud Terrain tires. They have aprox 50% tread still remaining. The interior is in great nice shape all around. The windshield is in very nice condition and the glass is chip free. The highback tan seats are all freshly redone. The floors are all totally solid and have been professionally coated in rhino-lining. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The Jeep has an older aftermarket stereo system that still currently does not work. Mechanically, this CJ runs GREAT! The Jeep starts right up and shifts quite easily. The 5.0L engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and runs like a top! According to the previous owner there is only about 15,000 miles on a complete rebuild of engine and transmission. The new carburetor paired with a new fuel pump mean that this CJ starts right up every time. Every mechanical system on this Jeep was gone through and given a clean bill of health. The jeep is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything. The headers feeding into dual flowmasters really give this jeep a mean sound. This Jeep really scoots with the modified V8 and will easily lay down rubber if your not careful! All in all, this is one clean and reliable Jeep that would make a great trail rig or daily driver.
