For sale is a 2001 X-tra cab Tacoma SR5 4x4, 2.7 liter 4 cylinder, automatic. I am the 2nd owner. Truck has A/C, factory CD player, and 16" wheels. Truck has high miles but it runs great. No oil leaks, no oil use, no mechanical problems. I would drive it anywhere. I have owned for almost 3 years and have never had any problems with it. Truck is PA inspected until Aug. 2010. Tires passed inspection at 3/32 but will need replaced in near future. It currently has 265/75/16 on it with an aggressive tread. 4x4 works great with no problems. Interior is clean and in great condition. It has never been smoked in by me. Truck has hitch for towing. New front brakes put on 7,000 miles ago (have receipt). Reason im selling is because i recently bought a car and since it gets better gas mileage than the truck (approx. 18-20 mpg) i never drive it anymore. Im sure truck would get better gas mileage with new less aggressive tires. Great truck but its just sitting in the garage not getting driven. Truck has bedliner and i sprayed the underbody with rubberized undercoating when i bought it and just resprayed the frame 1/3/10. It has dings and scratches but its a nice looking solid truck. No rust on truck body that im aware of but rear bumper is starting to rust, but not too bad. There are two small chips in the windshield since ive owned it but they have never gotten worse, so I think its safe to say they won't. Nice truck, ask any and all questions. As you may know Tacoma's in this year range were having problems with the frames rusting out. This truck has NO FRAME RUST but if you are concerned with the possibility I now have a letter assuring the owner a free "Corrosion-Resistant Treatment". I am in the process of making an appointment to have this done but currently my local Toyota dealership has not been given the go ahead to do this. If time allows I will have this done if not the paperwork will go with the truck and can be done by the new owner. Offer for this free treatment is good until 10/31/10. Thanks.
