1987 Audi 4000 Quattro 152,586 miles All time all wheel drive with working locking differentials for 4 wheel drive. 2.2 litre 5 cylinder engine. Maintained by myself, a Audi Technician. 5 speed transmission Nokian WR tires with most of the life left in them. Only driven on them for about 5,000 miles. Alpine iPod/iPhone interface Stereo with JL Audio Subs and tweets all the way around. Momo Steering Wheel. Sparco Shift knob. (comes loose but can easily be fixed) What I have added or replaced: Prop Shaft from front to rear of vehicle Rear wheel bearings Front brake rotors and pads Momo steering wheel New oil pan (old one was dented but no engine damage) Nokian Tires Headlights (used, but in better shape than the ones that came with it) I also have some spares of course which come with it. 4 Red Audi 4000 doors, matching color. Bin full of misc. parts including the door pockets which were removed from the door to accomodate the new speakers. The dash has the usual pimpling effect. This was recalled from audi however the recall no longer applies. I do have a dash in good shape but it is sold seperately. I am selling the dash for $150. The body is in rough shape, however if it were in great shape I would be asking alot more. This is your chance to own one of the great awd cars of the 80's. It runs great. Always starts for me even after sitting for 3 months. Engine is solid. Makes the usual lifter noise but quiets down after it warms up. Clutch is still very strong. Honestly I want to keep this vehicle as it is very reliable. I toss in a quart of oil every thousand miles. Has a very minor oil leak from a sensor on the engine. Easy and cheap to fix. Just recently passed emissions in Feb. Gets around 25 mpg. Vehicle is sold as is. I am open to offers.
