It is an all original 100% rust free 1979 California XJ-S with only 16,000 original miles. The lovely car offered here vin #JNVEX49C103216 has spent the last 30+ years in southern California. The car is stunning inside and out. The 5.3 Lt. V-12 engine sounds phenomenal and purrs on all twelve cylinders. The acceleration is positive and the car has a lot of power. The transmission shifts like clockwork through all the gears. The brakes, steering, and suspension are all in good working order. The mechanical, electrical, and climate control systems were all working properly when tested. Cosmetically the car looks amazing. The body is outstanding and has a absolutely 100% rust free body, chassis, and frame. She still has the original factory coat of paint which is gorgeous and lustrous throughout. The carpets are like new.The car has both of it's original vintage collector "blue and yellow" front and rear license plates which verify the cars registration history in California since new. All of the chrome is like new. This car has the look, feel, and aroma of a classic Jaguar and is a definite must have for any car collector especially a Jaguar enthusiast.
