This 1998 GMC 3500 has a 6.5l turbo diesel. The engine was replaced 2 years ago with a 2001 engine that had 65k on it when it was installed. the engine currently has 92k miles on it. It runs good. It has the typical PDM problem , it shuts off occasionally. I never replaced it because it doesn't do it very often. The transmission shifts great and 4wd work great. It has fisher plow plates but no plow. It has pwr windows, door locks, cruise, a/c. A/C needs to be charged. The cab is in great shape, no major rust. It does have some surface rust from stone chips on the bottom of the doors. The body is a stahl, it had a new floor a supports installed 3 years ago so the main floor is in good condition. The floors of the cabinets are getting a little weak as well as a few of the doors. Overall it is a good truck that has been maintained.
