1985 Chevrolet Silverado This is a great truck!! I had a for sale sign on it but that just brought out the tire kickers. Coming baby forces sell. Below is a list of what I have done and know about the truck. Vortec 350 - The milage is unknown. When I purchased the truck the motor and transmission were already in it. I drive a company car and very seldom drive it. I have had it over 4 years and only put approx 20k on the truck. I have never had any problems with it. It has an Edelbrock Intake, headers, flowmasters, and a 4 barrel carb(Quadrajet). It has a new battery and Holley blue electric fuel pump. Automatic Transmission-3 speed Body-I bought this truck because I really liked the paint. Very slick. Since I do drive it, it does have some minor chips and stuff which I just touched up. No rust issues at all. Very Solid! Interior-Corvette style leather seats with a fold down console. New Carpet, headliner, visors, door panels, dash pad. All installed about 6 months ago. Has a radio with a TV that flips out(not my style) from when I bought it. The shop that did the interior work I think knocked off the power to it cause when I got it back it stopped working. I would have already fixed it but was planning on replacing it anyway. A/C, Heat- Works great. A/C very cold. Had it charged a few years ago so no leaks. Tires-I replaced the tires a few years ago and are in excellent condition. Alot of thread. Alarm- It has an alarm with keyless entry from the previous owner but I lost the remote. I think AudioVox. Bed- The bed has a sprayed on bed linear. The linear around the carriage bolts were cut so the painter could remove the bed for painting. The things that would need attention to make this truck perfect are: Switch that operates the passanger window from the drivers seat doesnt work. The window goes down but you have to lean over to hit the switch on the passanger door. Fuel guage doesnt work. It never did. I have had 4 of these trucks and none have worked. No door key. I lost it. I used the keyless entry so I didnt need the door key. Has a small transmission leak. Not a big deal. The bulbs that light up the instruments, some are out.
