I have been putting this off for a couple of years now, but I just don't have the time, energy or resources to finish this project. Up for sale is my baby. A 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. This is the N/T, no fluff eclipse. It is Naturally Aspirated, and FWD. I bought this car for one purpose only and that was to have a real fast, all motor, streetable, drag car. This car has NO a/c, NO p/s, NO cruise, a blocked off EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation) and NO interior (other than a driver seat and dash). I have however, reinstalled the passenger seat and door panels so you may have use of the one option it DOES have... power windows, so you can now share the joy of the car with someone else while being able to roll the windows down. The only thing attractive about the car is the body shape, other than that it will take a special person to love this car like I do. I'll start with the exterior. As you can see it needs paint. Between someone's envy (getting keyed) and the removal of the big, ugly and heavy spoiler the car's paint is not so good. I started to do some body work on it but never got around to finishing it. The hood has been skinned, and put on pins, and there are Altezza tail lights, along with upgraded head lights and clear side markers. The windows have been tinted but I can't remember what the percentages are as it was such a long time ago. I bought this car in 2003 and am only the second owner. The car was completely stock when I bought it and it took me a long time to find the perfect one to start this project. This car DOES NOT RUN as is, as the #1 cylinder has no compression. Let me tell you what the car has done to it... INTERIOR: - Pace Setter Short shifter with Urethane Shifter Bushings - Gutting of interior for weight reduction (only driver and passenger seat remain along with Dash and door panels - Relocation of Battery into trunk of car for easier access and cleaner look under hood UNDER THE HOOD: (The good stuff) - Prothane Urethane Motor mounts - Metal transmission linkage bushings - Removal of P/S, A/C, EGR and all remaining lines and wires - AEM V2 Cold Air intake mated with a K&N Filter - Modern Performance 60mm Throttle Body - MSD Ignition Coil Pack - MSD 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires - Full radius Valve Job along with gasket matching and smoothing of any bumps in cylinder head (alone cost me $1500 w/ bro deal) but worth it. - Gasket matched and honed intake manifold to match perfectly to both the T/B and cylinder head - Unorthodox Underdrive pulley - Crower Valve springs and retainers - Indy Valves - New hardware for Camshaft Caps - Stone Racing headers - Freeflow Catalytic Converter - MagnaFlow twin outlet exhaust (The tone of this car is so amazing) - KYB AGX adjustable (4-way in front, 7-way in rear) shocks - Ground Control Coilovers with Eibach Springs - New top and bottom end gasket sets - Relocated coolant overflow can - New timing belt INCLUDED BUT NOT INSTALLED: - 1 pair of Goodrich Comp T/A Drag Radial not installed on Rims (with only 2 passes on them) - A 2nd block that is the car's original. (It was taken out to be fully built, but no time, no money) - A 7-color 3in Tachometer - Spare Tire - New (still in box) Fuel Filter - 2nd Intake Manifold (Car's Original) - Extra gaskets Thanks for looking!!!
