0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 2001 Mazda Tribute ES 4X4. Top-of-the-line model. Fully loaded with leather interior, CD player and premium sound system, Bluetooth for hands-free calling, AUX input for iPod or other MP3 player, a power sunroof, and other luxury features. Only 58,744 miles. Very well maintained, both inside and out. Exterior paint is still shiny, with only a few minor dings and scrapes. There is also a small dent on the front driver’s side that could be easily popped out (no paint damage). Interior looks fantastic. The leather shows only minimal wear on the driver's seat. The rest of the seats are in excellent shape, as are the carpets and trim. Clear title, clean CARFAX (see below), and emissions report (Smog Check Certificate will be provided). Recently serviced, inspected, and detailed. I have the maintenance records and manuals for you. Everything works great. All it needs is a new owner! I am happy to show the car to anyone who is interested and let you take for a test drive or inspection. Kelley Blue Book for this car is $7,810 (dealers are selling it for over $9,000), but I'm here to sell. There is a reserve, but I'm willing to make a great deal and all reasonable offers will be considered. So go ahead and bid. 200-horsepower V6 3.0 Liter engine 4-wheel drive four-speed automatic transmission leather seats 4-Wheel ABS Power glass sunroof Anti-theft alarm system Keyless entry remote (2 sets) premium sound system w/ 6 speakers and subwoofer CD stereo upgrade (Pioneer DEH-P7000BT) installed January 2009. This car has had only 2 owners: first my mother in Hawaii (she bought it new in Dec 2000), then me in California (I had it shipped over from Hawaii in September 2004), so there is NO WAY the odometer was ever rolled back. The source of the error is Hawaii Federal Credit Union (issuer of both my mom’s and my car loans for the Tribute). They discovered that they made a clerical error when they transferred the title from my mom to me. They have already reported their mistake to the Honolulu DMV and it will be corrected in the system, though I'm not sure how long that will take. They have also provided a notarized letter explaining the mileage error, which I will pass along to any buyer, and have issued a corrected title. Here's where the report shows a problem: 09/04/04 - Honolulu, HI - 22,635 miles 11/05/04 - Honolulu, HI - 31,000 miles 01/14/05 - California - 24,781 miles First off, do you really think my 65-year-old Japanese mother put 8,365 miles on the car in just 2 months on the ISLAND of Oahu (especially after putting less than 3 times those many miles on the car in almost 4 years)? Trust me, there aren't that many places to go. Second, the car wasn't even in Honolulu on 11/05/04 when the 31,000 miles were reported. It was already in California. In fact, I have a North Hollywood, CA service record dated 10/11/2004 (almost a month earlier) that reports the mileage at 23,981, which I'm happy to provide. Third, 31,000 miles on the nose? Fourth, why would anyone roll back the mileage on a car with so few miles already (let alone my own mother or me, the new owner)? It makes absolutely no sense. Bottom line: This car's mileage is legit and I will do whatever necessary to put any buyer's mind at ease, including taking the car to a Mazda dealership to have the odometer checked out to confirm there's no funny business.
