dear bidders up for auction is a 1956 chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup.. this truck is originally from california.. is now located in liberty hill texas 78642... the truck is a late fifties period kustom with modern drivetrain underneath.. i love the old looks with modern driving capabilities and ride.. truck has been clipped in the front with 1973 el camino and has been kicked up in the rear to lower it.. rear end is from el camino as well with 3.42 posi.. engine is a rebuilt 350 with a mild cam and offenhauser intake with edelbrock carb.. transmission is a rebuilt turbo 350... truck is new or rebuilt underneath except for the idler arm, drag link and steering box.. has power brakes and power sterring.. never installed air on it and it doesnt have a heater since it was from california.. regulators and side glass are brand new with new vent window rubbers and fuzzys... the gas tank, stewart warner guages, wiring, and plumbing is all new.. new coker wide whitewalls.. has a newport engineering electric windshield wiper in it.. has a new cd radio hooked up in the glovebox but no speaker.. all insode garnish mouldings have been chromed as well as the vent window frames.. has frenched antennas.. shaved handles no solenoids been going thru the vent.. the bad is that it has some pinholes in the pass door bottom front and back and 2 dents under the headlight on the pass side.. truck is very solid.. just needs your finishing touches.. paint and interior.. seat is out of a cadillac with a fold down armrest.. very nice riding and driving truck... please feel free to email me with any questions and thanks for looking.. ******** must be paid for within 7 days of auction end********* please let me know if you would like to come view it in person.. thanks again
