I am listing this sharp 55 Speedster for a friend. It is painted the origional two tone colors (Primlico Gray/Ivory) and is equipped with power steering and power brakes. Only 2,215 President Speedsters were produced for the 1955 year. Reportedly of that total only 424 were produced with this color scheme. The engine, sourced from Packard is a Passmaster 259 cubic inches, V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor producing 185 Horse Power.This Speedster has been maintained as origional as possible. One change made is the addition of Dynaliner (Sound Attenuation) behind the door panels, floor and fire wall. Parts that have been replaced with reproductions and/ or rebuilt as follows: Distributor Cap, Rotor, Points, Spark Plugs & Wires, Rebuilt Carb., All New Emblems, Tail light and Parking Light Lenses and Seals, Rebuilt Tranny, Lower Control Arm Bushings, New Special Diamond Pattern Seat Covers,Carpets, Paint, Fuel Tank Sending Unit, Water Pump,Brakes, Rocker Panels, All New Rubber Seals,All Chrome Redone, Stainless Steel Buffed To Shine. To the best of my knowledge, the following require comments: The Headliner was not replaced as it looks good as shown. The Clock, Radio and RPM Sending Unit do not work.The Right Side Back-Up Light was dented and when it was rechromed it did not come out to well as shown in the pictures. No Warranty is expressed or implied. A $500.00 deposit in the form of a Cashiers Check is due within 48Hrs. of auction ending. Remaining payment is due within 10 days of winning bid by Cashiers Check. Car must be picked up within 14 days of auction ending unless prior arrangements are made.
